About

The imprint

Velaria Press is an independent publishing imprint created for stories that deserve to travel.

We publish books shaped by distinctive places, complex people and uncommon perspectives. Stories about ambition, identity, power, relationships, chance and the choices that change lives.

We believe in books that cross borders — geographical, cultural and personal. Publishing should remain curious, independent and open to the world.

Some stories begin in familiar places. Others take us somewhere we have never been. The ones that matter leave something behind.
