Who processes your data
The data controller is Unconventional Booking Srl, Viale Ancona 8C, 30174 Venezia, VAT number 04408660274, publishing under the imprint Velaria Press. For anything concerning your data, write to info@velariapress.com.
What we collect
From the contact form: the name you give, your email address, the subject you select and the text of your message. Nothing else.
The server hosting this site automatically records accesses — IP address, date and time, page requested — in technical logs, as any web server does. We do not use them to analyse visitor behaviour.
This site uses no cookies
No cookies of any kind: not technical, not analytical, not third-party. We use no Google Analytics and no other measurement system. There are no social buttons, embedded videos or maps. Even the typefaces are hosted on our own server rather than called from an external service, so your visit is not reported to anyone.
That is why there is no banner to accept: there is nothing to consent to. If we ever introduce tools that require your consent, you will read it here before it happens.
Why we process your data
To read your message and reply to it. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to those who write to us (Art. 6.1.f of Regulation EU 2016/679); where the enquiry concerns a possible collaboration, the performance of pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6.1.b).
Filling in the form is voluntary. Without a name, an email address and a message we cannot reply to you, and that is the only consequence.
How long we keep it
Messages stay in our mailbox for 24 months after the last exchange, then they are deleted. Server logs follow the retention periods of the hosting provider.
Who else can see it
Nobody, beyond whoever at Velaria Press reads the mail and answers you. Messages arrive in the domain mailbox hosted by Serverplan, and are also handled by the email service we use to read them: both act as data processors on our behalf. We do not sell, share or disclose your data to anyone else, we do not profile you and we take no automated decisions about you.
Your rights
You may ask us at any time to access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict its processing, receive it in a readable format or object to the processing. Write to info@velariapress.com: we answer within one month.
If you believe your data is being handled improperly, you may lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, garanteprivacy.it, or with the supervisory authority of the country where you live.

Changes appear on this page, with the date updated at the top. There are no other versions kept elsewhere.
